Terms of sale
This English version of the terms of sale is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. Scope
These general terms of sale (the “Terms”) govern sales of digital content on store.simnjs.fr (the “Site”) between the seller identified in section 2 (the “Seller”) and any person placing an order (the “Buyer”). They apply to consumers and business buyers alike; provisions specific to consumers are indicated.
Placing an order requires prior, unreserved acceptance of these Terms, given by ticking the box shown before payment. The Terms in force on the order date apply.
2. Seller
Simon Gay EI, sole proprietor (“entrepreneur individuel”), 11 rue de Douaumont, 42400 Saint-Chamond, France. SIREN 990 423 162, SIRET 990 423 162 00017, registered with the French National Business Register (RNE). EU VAT number: FR30990423162. Email: contact@simnjs.fr. Phone: [À COMPLÉTER : numéro de téléphone].
3. Products
The Site offers digital content for Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN): Verse code, assets, templates and documentation (the “Products”), delivered by download without any physical medium.
Each product page lists the Product’s main characteristics: description, download contents, Product version and the UEFN version it was tested on. Images and videos are for illustration.
Using the Products requires a compatible computer, UEFN and an Epic Games account, which are the Buyer’s sole responsibility. The Buyer is solely responsible for complying with Epic Games’ terms, including the island creator rules, for any island that uses the Products.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. VAT not applicable under article 293 B of the French Tax Code (CGI). The price that applies is the one displayed when the order is placed. Promotion codes may be offered and are entered on the checkout page.
The Seller may change prices at any time; this does not affect orders already paid.
5. Ordering
The Buyer confirms that they are of legal age or have permission from their legal guardian to place an order.
The Buyer adds Products to the cart, ticks the box accepting these Terms and requesting immediate delivery of the Products (section 8), and is then redirected to Stripe’s secure checkout to enter their email address and payment details. The Buyer can review the order details and total price, and correct them, before confirming payment.
The contract is formed when payment is confirmed. The Seller then confirms the order on the order page and by email; this confirmation lists the Products, the price paid and the Buyer’s express agreement regarding the right of withdrawal.
The Seller may refuse an order in case of a prior dispute with the Buyer, suspected fraud or an abnormal request.
6. Payment
Payment is due immediately and in full. It is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., a licensed payment institution. Available methods (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Klarna, etc.) depend on the Buyer and their country. The Seller never has access to the Buyer’s full payment details.
With a delayed payment method, delivery takes place once Stripe confirms the payment.
7. Delivery and access to files
Products are delivered as soon as payment is confirmed: the Buyer gets a personal order page, also linked by email, from which the files can be downloaded.
This link is personal and must not be shared. It remains valid as long as the Site operates and always gives access to the latest published version of each purchased Product. The Buyer should keep a copy of the downloaded files.
If access fails, the Buyer can request a new link from the My purchases page or contact the Seller.
8. No right of withdrawal
Under article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content not supplied on a physical medium whose supply has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and express waiver of the right of withdrawal.
Before paying, the consumer Buyer expressly requests immediate delivery of the Products and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal once the download is available. This agreement is restated in the order confirmation.
9. License
The Seller retains all intellectual property rights in the Products. A purchase grants the Buyer a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license for the full term of the rights, allowing the Buyer to:
- use, modify and adapt the Products in an unlimited number of UEFN projects, including published and monetized islands;
- have collaborators or contractors work on those projects on the Buyer’s behalf.
The following are prohibited: reselling, renting, sharing, publishing or redistributing the Products or their source code, modified or not, outside a published island; including them in a product aimed at other creators (code pack, template, asset, tool); making them available in a public repository.
Any breach automatically terminates the license, without prejudice to damages.
10. Legal guarantee of conformity
The Seller supplies Products that conform to the contract and their description. Consumer Buyers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content under articles L224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code: if a Product does not conform, they can have it brought into conformity or, failing that, obtain a price reduction or cancel the contract and get a refund.
The Seller provides the updates needed to keep the Products in conformity. Changes to UEFN or Fortnite made by Epic Games are not in themselves a lack of conformity; the Seller nevertheless aims to ship fixes within a reasonable time.
Claims should be sent to contact@simnjs.fr with the order concerned and a description of the problem.
11. Liability
The Seller is not liable for damage resulting from use of the Products contrary to their documentation, modification by the Buyer, use with a UEFN version other than the one stated, or decisions made by Epic Games about the Buyer’s islands. These limits do not deprive consumer Buyers of their statutory rights.
Towards business Buyers, the Seller’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the Product concerned.
12. Personal data
Data collected when ordering is processed in accordance with the privacy policy.
13. Mediation and governing law
In case of a dispute, the Buyer first contacts the Seller to seek an amicable solution. Consumer Buyers may then use, free of charge, the consumer mediator the Seller is registered with: [À COMPLÉTER : nom du médiateur], [À COMPLÉTER : site du médiateur].
These Terms are governed by French law. Consumer Buyers living in another country keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence. Failing an amicable settlement, disputes go before the courts with jurisdiction under applicable law; for business Buyers, the courts of the Seller’s registered office.
